Three additional halls with significantly extended ranges
26 August to 4 September 2022 will see CARAVAN SALON open its doors for the caravanning highlight of the year at Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre. The leading trade fair for motorhomes, caravans, campervans and equipment has significantly extended its ranges compared to the previous year and shows the whole world of caravanning in as many halls as ever. “We are very satisfied that we succeeded in convincing many new companies and numerous repeaters of our concept. The exhibition area will grow by three halls. This means we will be presenting the ranges of 600 exhibitors on 250,000 square metres in 16 halls in total. CARAVAN SALON is the only place to see the full line-up of brands thereby offering the kind of direct product comparison that is also only possible with us in Düsseldorf. We look to this year’s event full of optimism and anticipation,” says Stefan Koschke, Project Director Caravanning & Outdoor. In Düsseldorf all mobile leisure enthusiasts will find both vehicle highlights and a huge portfolio of accessories, technical equipment, detachable parts, roof tents, mobile homes, caravanning and camping accessories, outdoor wear, travel destinations, campsites as well as motorhome pitches.
Trend towards individual and near-nature travels
“Vacationing with motorhomes and caravans has seen enormous and constantly growing uptake for more than ten years. The pandemic then reinforced the trend towards individual and near-nature travelling yet again,” says Daniel Onggowinarso, Managing Director of Caravaning Industrie Verband e.V. (CIVD), and adds: “Since travelling has become possible again with almost no restrictions people are planning their holidays at full speed. This means a visit to CARAVAN SALON pays off all the more for both caravanning lovers and newbies because there is no other place where the bandwidth of vehicles and accessories is so broad and products can be experienced in such a hands-on way.”
New: Preview Day on first Friday
For the first time now, the first Friday will serve as the Preview Day. Alongside media representatives and trade visitors, exhibitors will also be able to invite end-users permitting them to explore the fairgrounds on that first day in a quiet atmosphere. “With this option we want to further develop the first Friday of the fair while allowing our exhibitors to invite their buyers selectively. This creates a professional setting for discussing orders, business exchange and networking,” explains Stefan Koschke.
1-day tickets cost EUR 18 over the weekend, EUR 16 on working days (discounted ticket costs EUR 15 over the weekend, EUR 13 on working days), for children (6 to 12 years) 1-day tickets are EUR 8 over the weekend and EUR 6 on working days.
